Oana Dereli - Managing Partner
Oana makes sure our team has the correct people, the highest moral and the communication needed to get the job done. She has a diploma in Computer Science as a Diplomatic Engineer, a Master Degree in Strategic Marketing, and is fascinated by new media, marketing and positive attitudes.
She is one of the most serious people we know when it comes to work, but has a great sense of humor at the same time, because in her words “work is only work, if you aren’t having fun.” She loves (fast) driving, meeting new people and exploring new places.
She is connected to her business at all times because everybody can and does count on her. She makes intelligent decisions fast and is more analytic than intuitive. She always finds a solution. You are just as likely to find Oana working alongside an HTML developer as you are seeing her closing our next deal with a client. She sets the tone and the expectations for our team.
Maria Tulea - Operations Manager
Honestly, we don’t know how our office would run without Maria. She coordinates, allocates and reports on all the projects we work on. She knows who is available and best suited to take on each task and communicates our progress to the client.
Maria was the first person hired to our team and has maintained a rock-solid reputation as a multi-tasker and implementer for Pictas. Amidst all this, she manages to check-in with and take care of every member of our team - she’s almost like a mom to us.
Ana Fratiloiu - UI/UX Team Leader
Ana is our international client extraordinaire. She has a deep passion for usability and experience, and designs the wireframes for most of our projects. Her deadline-oriented work style motivates our team from concept to completion.
It is clear in her work and attitude that she really loves what she is doing. She often works day and night (along with the rest of us) to discover the proper solutions to a project.
Ana draws her motivation from her goals and the results that she can achieve. She loves to dance and hates coffee, which is one reason we love her - more coffee is always a plus for us. When working with Ana you can count on her to create the layout, put her knowledge and sense into action, and then deliver.
George Badea - Front-End Team Leader
The fact that there is always something new to learn, implement or test is the fuel for George’s fire. He is a HTML developer to the core and is constantly researching the latest trends, gadgets and applications in technology.
George is a self-starter who drives our web development and is known for his concrete reliability. Just don’t expect him to go with you for a hike, as his interest in outdoor activities is limited to, in his words, “only if required.”
Vlad Dusa - Graphic Design Team Leader
Vlad loves to design for web and mobile. He has a clear and simple approach to design and a big appetite for information and knowledge. His sponge-like curiosity keeps him constantly learning from his colleagues and clients and reinforces his “always be better than yesterday” mind-set.
In addition to design, we call upon Vlad for his never-ending, fix-anything resourcefulness - Printer down? Code acting buggy? Coffee too weak? Vlad’s technical and handyman abilities make him our designer and general contractor all in one.
